I am taking the Brewers on the ML here at this short price against the Padres. The Padres are coming off a win against the Astros and are 4-3 their L7. The Brewers have back to back wins and are a commanding 5-1 their L6. Taking the hill for the Brewers is Logan Henderson who has been on a heater as of late with a commanding 5-0 record, while maintaining a 2.25 ERA and 0.81 WHIP. His numbers on the road are even better, with a .730 WHIP. Countering for San Diego is Casey Mize, who has done far better on the road than at home. His recent home starts include an 0-2 record and a staggering 4.15 ERA over his L3 home starts. The bright spot for Milwaukee, they are getting on base with a .335 OBP and .386 SLG% showing that runs can get across the plate. The Padres, are hitting just .230 against RHP and combine that with a .685 OPS, and that won't be enough once these true Brew Crew bats get going. Take the Brewers on the ML here. -Joey Tron

I am taking the Sky on the ML here against the Storm. The Storm have been on a horrid 11 game losing streak and should not be anywhere close to being a favorite in this one. The Sky have won 3 of their L5 and are playing competitive enough basketball where they are 7-1 ATS the L8. The Chicago offense has been playing well and getting way more chances at the rim, as they are hitting at least 45% from the field in 5 of the L6. Defensively, the Sky have been better, but they are forcing turnovers at a huge rate, with 12+ forced in 6 straight. The Seattle defense has been all over the place with foes hitting over 50% from the field in 3 of 5 and on offense, they've failed to score over 90 points in 4 of 6 and shot below 47% from the field in each of them. This game might be ugly, but the Sky have a chip on their shoulder with all the drama faced with the Fever this weekend. Take the Sky ML here. -Joey Tron
