Dolphins vs. Jaguars

The Dolphins still have a quarterback situation to figure out. Fitzpatrick threw multiple interceptions in the season opener against the Patriots and was unable to lead the offense down the field that much at all. Meanwhile, Gardner Minshew was near perfect in his opener, completing 19 out of 20 passes and getting an upset win over the Indianapolis Colts. As much as I have faith in the Dolphins, I think Minshew mania may be coming back in full swing.

Final Pick: Jaguars

Football Team vs. Browns
The Football Team was able to score 27 unanswered points in their opener against the Eagles and looked like they were playing very inspired football after going down 17 quickly. They will need Dwayne Haskins to play far better if they have any hopes of having a winning record this season, however. On the other side of this we have the Browns, who were absolutely killed in their last game 38-6. I am not quite sure what is going on over in Cleveland, but I am starting to believe that they are just unable to have a winning season. I will stick pick this team in this matchup due to the amount of talent that they have, but this game will be closer than expected.

Final Pick: Browns

Raiders vs. Patriots
Each of these team have played very well so far to begin the season, as they both have established very good running games. Ultimately, this matchup will come down to the defenses and who is able to stop the other first. I believe that the Raiders have a more explosive and dangerous offense, but the Patriots have a far better defense. This came will be very close, but I am taking the Raiders due to Josh Jacob’s continued excellence.

Final Pick: Raiders

49ers vs. Giants
The 49ers haven’t played their greatest football so far this season, but that is expected to change this week against a very weak opponent in the Giants. The Giants will be improved this year compared to last year, but they ultimately don’t have near the firepower in order to contend against the former NFC Champions. Barkley may be able to keep this game close if he can break a couple big runs, but the 49ers should still run away with this one.

Final Pick: 49ers

Texans vs. Steelers
The Texans have clearly missed the presence of DeAndre Hopkins so far this season, as it doesn’t seem like Deshaun Watson is able to find anybody open on many different occasions. However, their run game has improved since David Johnson has joined the team, but overall, their offense is far too inconsistent. It doesn’t help that they are playing a very strong Steelers defense in this matchup which will give them a lot of problems. Pittsburgh will also have a field day against this below average Texans defense that doesn’t have a lot of big names outside of J.J. Watt. Look for the Steelers to dominate this game with their defense.

Final Pick: Steelers

Rams vs. Bills
Both of these teams have already had solid wins so far this season. The Rams offense wasn’t as great as it could be but there is still a lot of time for improvement for every team in the NFL. But the Bills were able to dominate their season opener against the New York Jets, with outstanding defense and good offensive play calling. Josh Allen will have to start connecting on open receivers though, as he missed a few wide-open players in in the back of the end zone because he didn’t turn and set his feet before throwing. But those are things that can be worked on, and when they do get fixed it will make Allen a very dangerous quarterback for any team to go up against. I think the Bills take this one due to their defense shutting down Goff and the Rams.

Final Pick: Bills

Titans vs. Vikings
This will be a battle between two hard nosed football teams. They both love to run the football and dominate time of possession and they will each attempt just that when they face off in this Week 3 clash. The Titans will be working behind Derrick Henry and his continued dominance running the football after playing amazing throughout last years postseason. The Vikings will be running through Dalvin Cook, who just received a big contract extension. Much like other games this week, it will be a battle to see whose defense comes up with more big stops down the stretch. I think that it will be the Vikings in this matchup as their defense has more talent on it.

Final Pick: Vikings

Bengals vs. Eagles
The Eagles will have to find some way to protect their starting quarterback better. He was sacked eight times in the season opener against Washington and that cannot happen again. If they want any chance of winning this football game, then they will need to get him some time in the pocket so he can make better decisions with the ball. The Bengals will need to basically just blitz the Eagles all day to try and fluster him due to their lack of an offensive line. They also have gotten some good play from number one overall pick Joe Burrow so far. This game is a toss-up, but I think the Bengals might actually get a win here after watching the Eagles lose to Washington, who many believe are the worst in the league.

Final Pick: Bengals

Bears vs. Falcons
The Bears seem to be one of the most inconsistent teams in the league. They have flashes of their playoff form from a few years ago then they show flashes of a 2-14 team. Most of that is on Mitchell Trubisky, when he plays well, this team rallies behind him and can beat anyone. But when he plays poorly, they are one of the worst teams in the league. Their opponent, however, doesn’t have as much talent on the defensive side of the ball as the Bears but their offense has a ton of weapons. From Julio Jones to Todd Gurley, this team will be able to put up a lot of points and the Bears will have to match that. I don’t think they will be able too and I see the Falcons getting a win here.

Final Pick: Falcons

Panthers vs. Chargers
The Panthers looked really good so far this season with Bridgewater at quarterback, but their defense has continued to a problem for them. It will have to improve and start to get some stops if they want to win games. The Chargers haven’t looked like they have a great offense at all so far, with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback they were unable to get a passing game going for much of their opener against the Bengals. They have to get something going against this bad Panther defense to help keep their defense rested and off the field. Which I believe that they will be able to accomplish.

Final Pick: Chargers

Jets vs Colts
The Jets looked terrible when playing against the Bills in the season opener and it doesn’t seem like things are going to get any better for them. Sam Darnold made some terrible decisions with the football when passing and star running back Le’veon Bell ended up getting injured, although he should be playing in this game. They also have a downright terrible defense after trading Jamal Adams. Meanwhile the Colts haven’t looked too good either, losing to the Jaguars in the opener. But they still were able to put up some big offensive yards in that matchup and are primed for another huge passing game with Rivers at quarterback. They should be able to run all over this poor Jets defense en route to a victory.

Final Pick: Colts

Buccaneers vs Broncos
This will be a very good battle between to different styles of teams. The Buccaneers are a much more experienced team with guys like Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Lesean McCoy on their roster. While the Broncos are much less experienced with Drew Lock, Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy. The Broncos should be able to take advantage of the Buccaneers below average secondary and should put up a good amount of points while the Bucs will need to get their chemistry down in order to limit their mistakes. If the Bucs want to win this game, they have to limit turnovers as well as limiting stupid penalties. I think the Broncos have the better chemistry and that will prove to be a deciding factor in this ball game.

Final Pick: Broncos

Lions vs. Cardinals
The Lions started off incredibly hot to start their season but ended up choking a lead to the Bears in the season opener and had a wide-open touchdown pass dropped by rookie DeAndre Swift which cost them the game. They need to close out games better as they have always struggled to finish games. Meanwhile the Cardinals played great team football with new addition DeAndre Hopkins and have had a great start to the season so far. I think the Cardinals are just the better overall team with better coaching, which is why they get the win.

Final Pick: Cardinals

Cowboys vs. Seahawks
The Cowboys were able to feed Ezekiel Elliot a lot throughout the first two games of the season, and it has been paying off pretty well. They will need to continue to do that against a Seahawks team that has a lot of talent across the board. The Seahawks will need too run the football a lot as well to take some pressure off of Russell Wilson, if they are able to get a solid run game going then Wilson will be able to pick them apart through the air. The Seahawks just have too many weapons on both their offense and defense to lose this game.

Final Pick: Seahawks

Packers vs. Saints
The Packers have been playing really great offense so far, but their defense has gotten the injury bug it seems so far. If they are fully healthy then this unit has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball and is arguably a championship contending team. Much like their opponent in this matchup, the New Orleans Saints, who were able to slow down the hype around Brady and the Buccaneers in Week 1. The Saints defense has been playing pretty well so far this season, and it has given their offense time to adjust to not having preseason games. This game is going to come down to the wire, but I think the Saints will be able to pull through due to their offensive firepower.

Final Pick: Saints

Chiefs vs. Ravens
This will be the best game in Week 3 and for great reason. The Chiefs are the reigning Super Bowl champions with the highest paid quarterback in NFL history and a great supporting cast, meanwhile the Ravens had the best record in the league last season and have the reigning MVP Lamar Jackson. This game should be incredibly high scoring and will definitely keep all the fans on the edge of their seats the whole time. I think that each of these teams have a great chance to win this game, but I am going to go with the Chiefs due to Patrick Mahomes and his experience in close games.

Final Pick: Chiefs
